IT WAS a night of the very highest camp with silk, diamonds and money on very conspicuous display. Sir Elton John's annual White Tie and Tiara Ball saw stars from Dame Shirley Bassey and Diana Ross to David Beckham and Rod Stewart arrive at his Windsor home to help raise money for his charity.
With the style code designed so it was virtually impossible to overdo things, Hollywood actress Sharon Stone, in slinky white silk, and Liz Hurley, in a shimmering and semitransparent dress of blue, looked gorgeous.
