Summary
WHEN the council advised its ward committee of its planned promotional coverage for the upcoming election, we here in the Papaioea Ward believed that the one meeting suggested on a weekday evening was insufficient for the ward with the largest population (and therefore four councillors), in the city.
We suggested a second meeting to be held close in to the city centre of the ward on a weekend afternoon. This, we thought, would enable more and possibly a different range of people to meet the candidates and judge their potential for themselves.See the full content of this document
