RECORD numbers of people using the new easier bankruptcy laws to get out of debt means specialist adviser Debt Free Direct will beat analysts' profit forecasts by at least 10% in the year to next April.
The company said today that the number of new clients using individual voluntary arrangements, which allow them to reach agreement with creditors and avoid bankruptcy, had trebled in its first quarter to an average 551 a month. That figure jumped to 607 in August and shows no sign of slowing down.See the full content of this document
