DRIVERS could face up to 14 years in prison if they kill someone while using their mobile phone.
Under proposals for tougher punishments set out by the Crown Prosecution Service, more motorists would be charged with causing death by dangerous driving - which carries a 14-year maximum sentence - instead of careless driving, for which there is no jail term.See the full content of this document
