STAND by for some uncertainty in the betting on tomorrow's John Smith's Cup after the draw left market leaders Notable Guest and Mullins Bay berthed on the wide outside in stalls 15 and 19 respectively, writes Graham Cunningham.

Arcalis won the York showpiece from stall 18 last year, but a high draw on the round course proved very hard to overcome at the recent Royal Ascot meeting and connections of Notable Guest are also concerned about the prospect of showers.
