Summary
MARGARET Busby OBE, who became Britain's first and youngest black woman publisher when she co-founded Allison Busby, is believed to have settled her legal dispute with Doreen Lawrence, mother of the murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence. The row cast a shadow over the launch of Mrs Lawrence's chastening autobiography, And Still I Rise, when it came out in June.
Ghana-born Dr Busby, who claimed to have ghostwritten the book without being paid, tried but failed to halt the publication of the book which, in an unprecedented omission, carries no copyright line as a result of the dispute.See the full content of this document
