Summary
WHAT a pity that Sheila Johnston's choice of the best of this autumn's films (26 August) panders to anglocentricity. Out of the 20 films she chooses, not one is non-English language. Most of the best films on release come from countries other than the US and the UK.
Among the many foreign delights coming up are two gems from France, the delightfully funny Comme une Image and Eric Rohmer's spy comedy, Triple Agent; a marvellous Russian road movie, Roads to Koktebel; and a remarkably fresh take on adolescence, Duck Season, from Mexico.See the full content of this document
