DURING a game of internet poker yesterday evening, an opponent styling himself simply as "Gash" mentioned being a supporter of West Ham United. We got talking in the chat box, and I asked if he had any pre-Cup Final special requests for this column. "How about getting the chef at the Marriott to cook the Liverpool prematch meal?" suggested Gash.
Utterly hilarious, of course, even if the lasagne has now been cleared of all charges.
