CONFUSION at the Home Affairs Select Committee today as Boris Johnson gave evidence.
Boris declared that the knife attacks in London did not involve people such as Mercutio. "Who was that?" asked Labour MP Martin Salter. "My education was not as expensive as yours." Johnson replied: "Mercutio is a character in a play by a wellknown English author called William Shakespeare." Mercutio was noted for his long- drawn-out speeches in Romeo and Juliet.
