YOUNG Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts took a one-stroke lead into the second round of the Seville Open today after an amazing 10 birdies in an opening 65.

The 21-year-old from Brussels (right) hopes it is the start of something big, although anything would be an improvement on the start he made to the 2004 European Tour season. Colsaerts played two events in South Africa and four more in Thailand, Australia, Dubai and Qatar without making a single penny. "I just got on a bad roll," he said.
