Summary

WOMEN expecting twins and triplets are being offered special pregnancy workshops amid a boom in multiple births.

The classes, run by the National Childbirth Trust, will take place at Canary Wharf and are in addition to antenatal classes. Multiple births in England and Wales have risen from 9,217 in 1997 to 10,471 in 2007. Nearly 15 in 1,000 births result in the delivery of more than one baby.
