CHRISTMAS is a time of heightened tension, as every family knows. All over England tomorrow, it will not just be the puddings which are bubbling over. Children will be squabbling over presents; ineradicable dismay at having to visit the in-laws will create feelings of anger in the calmest of adult breasts.
