TONY Blair, Middle East peace-keeper, where are you when we need you? Cherie Blair turned up last night at the Browse & Darby gallery in Cork Street to see a nude drawing of herself made from life by the late artist Euan Uglow in the late 1970s.

A crude sketch of Cherie, with her and her future husband's work telephone numbers scribbled on it (along with the words "after seven") sold to an anonymous buyer for the asking price of Pounds 4,000.
