PETER CROUCH was accused of pulling the dreadlocks of Trinidad's Brent Sancho to help him score England's vital first goal in the 2- 0 victory.

The Liverpool striker appeared to tug at the hair of the Gillingham defender for his 83rd-minute header. Sancho said: "The first goal was definitely a foul by Crouch. He was all over me. He was pulling me back and I couldn't get to him. But don't forget, we are tiny Trinidad Tobago and there is no way that the referee was going to blow that whistle and disallow the goal."
