A CAMPAIGN to stop childhood being commercialised was backed by authors, politicians and childcare experts today.
The Charter for Childhood calls for a ban on advertising to children under eight, the end of product placements in films and TV programmes and a statutory code of conduct for advertising to teenagers. It also demands a 20mph speed limit in residential areas and play areas on all new housing developments.See the full content of this document
