Summary


AN investment banker who gave evidence in his own defence succeeded only in convicting himself of conspiracy to supply methamphetamine, a High Court jury at Palmerston North heard yesterday.

Crown prosecutor Ben Vanderkolk told the court that Adrian Chatfield, in admitting he had agreed to loan co-accused Andrew Crombie $9000, knowing Crombie was a drug dealer, amounted to conspiracy.
