THE slow death of the British pub trade -- where beer sales have fallen to their lowest since the 1930s -- will cost up to 60,000 jobs unless the Government stops helping to kill the traditional boozer.
That is the warning today from British Beer and Pub Association, whose membership has watched helplessly as pubs close at a rate of five a day, hit by recession, smoking bans, soaring costs and the continued Treasury tax grab with increased duties on alcohol.See the full content of this document
