BRITISH film censors today announced they are toughening their stance on horror and violence.

The British Board of Film Classifications annual report revealed that requests for 12A ratings for several Hollywood films were rejected. Films including Cloverfield, I Am Legend and Disturbia all got a PG-13 rating in the US, allowing access to children of any age, but they received a more restrictive 15 certificate here.
