NO BRITISH newspaper has yet published those controversial cartoons depicting Mohammed. Which is probably a wise decision, given the view of Tim Benson, director of the Political Cartoon Society in Bloomsbury.

"I think this latest cartoon was asking for trouble, really," he says. "It was insensitive I'm all for freedom of expression but religion is an emotional minefield.
