AFTER his failure to shift art works in the Middle East, Damien Hirst is trying out his popularity in Ukraine. The PinchukArtCentre in Kiev is due to open Requiem, a major retrospective of more than 100 works dating from 1990 to 2008, by the artist later this month. The exhibition will open on 25 April and continue until 20 September.
Among the works on display are the Brit artist's monumental butterfly triptych, Doorways to the Kingdom of Heaven, and Death Explained, a sculpture of a shark cut in half in formaldehyde.See the full content of this document
