ALASTAIR Campbell's former deputy spindoctor in Downing Street, Lance Price, is savagely critical of his old boss's new novel about depression, All in the Mind, in a review in the leftwing magazine Progress. He starts off inevitably praising Alastair's "energy" and "courage" in raising the profile of mental illness by writing a book on the subject. He soon brings out the Taser.
