GEORGEBUSH is a very strange man. One of the images of him which will stay with me forever is Wednesday's press conference, summoned to explain why he has vetoed a bill that would have allowed federal funding for embryonic stem-cell research.
There are probably millions of people throughout the world, myself among them, who believe that this is an important issue. You do not have to belong to the neo-con religious Right to feel a little queasy at the prospect of "research" being conducted upon embryos which, if they grew to full term, would have turned into babies.See the full content of this document
