WEST HAM'S former managing director Paul Aldridge today insisted that he and ex-club chairman Terry Brown had done nothing wrong by attempting to profit by more than Pounds 9million from a proposed sale of the club to Iranian-born businessman Kia Joorabchian.
Brown eventually collected more than Pounds 30m from the sale of his majority shareholding to an Iceland consortium but allegations in a Sunday newspaper reveal that the former West Ham chairman was also due to receive a Pounds 1.5m lump sum signing-on fee and a salary of Pounds 1.5m for three years to remain at the club as a non- executive director.See the full content of this document
