LONDON audiences will be forgiven a lack of familiarity with Pippin, the 1972 musical from Stephen "Godspell" Schwartz. It played briefly in the West End in 1973, but ran for five years on Broadway. Although this revival from the Union Theatre is ingenious, my sympathy is with the judgment of theatregoers this side of the Atlantic.See the full content of this document
