WHITBREAD has seen a strong turnaround in sales at its onceunderperforming Brewers Fayre and David Lloyd Leisure clubs.
The company sold its standalone pub-restaurants, including many of the dated Beefeater inns, to Harvester owner Mitchells Butlers earlier this year to concentrate on those next to Premier Travel Inn hotels. It is left with 400 sites, where sales grew 2.5% in the third quarter against a fall of 1.2% three months ago.See the full content of this document
