NOTTINGHAM brewer Hardys Hansons has agreed a Pounds 272 million takeover by East Anglian rival Greene King. The 1059p-ashare deal is a 44% premium on the share price of a week ago, when the 174-year- old brewer revealed it had received an approach.
The two founding families who hold 50% of the votes will get a 10% premium for their unlisted deferred ordinary shares. HH, which has 268 pubs in the East Midlands, called the offer an "excellent cultural fit".See the full content of this document
