BOXER Amir Khan appeared in court today and pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving. The Olympic silver medallist is accused of knocking over a pedestrian who suffered a broken leg.

Khan, 19, was dressed in baseball cap, three-quarter-length shorts, trainers and a tracksuit top at Bolton magistrates' court. He spoke only to give his name and address and the case was adjourned until September for a further hearing and committal to crown court.
