Summary
UK COMPANIES have cited serious concerns about the availability of skilled finance workers to fulfill their businesses' headcount requirements over the coming year. A striking 80.6 per cent of commerce and accountancy firms surveyed by financial recruiter ECHM stated that they expected it to be "difficult" or "very difficult" to find people with the right skills.
This is in contrast to June 2006, when only 45 per cent expected it to be " difficult" or "very difficult" to hire over the remainder of the year. The research indicates that a further tightening of the finance candidate market is expected this year.See the full content of this document
