WHEN Tony Blair left Downing Street, publishing sources predicted he could expect around Pounds 8 million for his memoirs.
Three months on, and the pan seems to have gone off the boil. Seven publishers are said to be keen to negotiate a deal, but it looks like the figure will be half the projected amount.
