. TONY BLAIR was in faceto-face talks with Michael Howard and Charles Kennedy today to resolve the row over house arrest plans for terror suspects.
The policy meeting, the first between opposition leaders and Mr Blair since he came to office, showed Downing Street's desire for consensus on proposals to detain terror suspects in their own homes under "control orders" - an alternative to detaining foreign suspects without trial, which the Law Lords have ruled is unlawful.See the full content of this document
