A LORRYLOAD of turkeys arrived at the Bernard Matthews plant in Suffolk this morning as the farm at the centre of the bird flu outbreak got the go-ahead to start processing them again.
Environment Secretary David Miliband said the slaughterhouse at the Holton site had been relicensed after being disinfected. A zone restricting the transport of birds had been impposed around the site after the H5N1 virus was discovered there at the start of this month.See the full content of this document
