MORE than a million Norwich Union policyholders were today promised a windfall as the company distributes about half of its inherited estate.
Norwich Union owner Aviva, Britain's largest insurer, agreed to pay out Pounds 2.1 billion to 1.1 million with-profits policyholders an average of almost Pounds 2000 each, although those with large policies will get far more.
