Monday I had contemplated bringing my knitting to work before Christmas because things were so slow but I'm pleased to say that there are now definitely signs of market activity. A noticeable number of people are feeling that the property market may be close to a turn around and now might well be the time to consider moving.

We had an appointment to show a search agent over a house in Brightling with 17 acres and two cottages. The agent was seriously impressed. 'd taken my border terrier pup Mungo with me, so after the viewing I let him out for a wander, unaware of a resident peacock. There was a furious flurry of feathers everywhere.
