CIGARETTE vending machines could be banned from pubs, clubs and hotels in a bid to stop children buying cigarettes illicitly.

A Labour MP will introduce a Private Member's Bill that would outlaw unsupervised tobacco sales after concerns were raised that children were using machines to buy tobacco in defiance of the Government's new ban on sales to under-18s.
