SEVE BALLESTEROS has revealed he is getting better "day by day", as the golf legend recovers from four operations to remove a brain tumour.

The 51-year-old Spaniard will tomorrow start a second course of chemotherapy and he said: "I hope and wish it will be as effective as the first one. I am very motivated and working hard, although I am aware that my recovery will be slow and therefore I need to be patient and have a lot of determination.
