KEN LIVINGSTONE personally hosted a fundraising dinner for leading property developers and businessmen at which he himself asked for money, it can be revealed.

The event, held during Mr Livingstone's 2004 mayoral election campaign, raised thousands of pounds in personal donations and a sum of up to [pounds]41,500 for the Labour Party from the company which provided the venue.
