Rising star Murray has set his sights on a tennis Grand Slam title but is quick to defend the record of British No1 Tim Henman in the big events, reports Chris Jones

ANDY MURRAY today launched an impassioned defence of Tim Henman's Wimbledon record and vowed to give Britain a Grand Slam title to celebrate. Murray was ranked a lowly 569 in August last year but after his heroics in the Thailand Open, when it took world No1 Roger Federer to beat him 6-3, 7-5 in the final, he is now a member of the tennis elite with a ranking inside the top 100.
