DUTCH insurer ING today parted company with one of the most infamous names in British banking history as it sold the last remaining parts of its business to carry the Barings name.
It is selling Baring Asset Management to American financial services giant MassMutual and its fund administration, custody and trust business to US-based Northern Trust. The businesses, which employ almost 1400 people between them, were the last within the Dutch company to bear the 242-year-old Barings name.See the full content of this document
