SOME 23 years after the cult classic film was shot, the Proud Gallery in Camden Stables last night launched Murray Close's show Withnail & Me, an exhibition of unseen photographs from the set of the movie. Close has worked with everyone from Al Pacino to Stanley Kubrick.

The hard drinking out of work actor Withnail, played by Richard E Grant, is a modern day pin up. Jamie Hince's nickname for his party loving girlfriend Kate Moss is "Withnail." The film's notoriety has followed the lead actors all over the world.
