With constant talk of dwindling house prices and an air of doom and gloom surrounding the construction industry as a result of the credit crunch, you'd be forgiven for thinking that now is not the best time to make your move into the industry. While it is true that construction companies in other parts of the country are feeling the pinch, the same cannot necessarily be said about the capital.
It would appear that, so far, the industry in London has managed to avoid the worst of the economic slowdown. there are many reasons but it would seem that because the private housing market represents a fairly small proportion of London's overall construction activity, the industry is not experiencing the difficulties being faced elsewhere.See the full content of this document
