EMBATTLED Absolute Capital Management has fought off for now a bid by one of the shareholders in its hedge funds to have them liquidated.
The group, which has been brought to its knees by the abrupt resignation of co-founder and chief investment officer Florian Homm last month, is pushing ahead with an alternative plan Cayman Islands to wind up the group's funds and call in the liquidators. Absolute Capital has now won a reprieve with the court delaying the scheduled liquidation with a further hearing in two weeks.See the full content of this document
