GOLD CHRIS HOY Cycling, Mens sprint Hoy became the most successful Scottish Olympian ever as he beat team-mate Jason Kenny to become the first Briton in 100 years to win three golds at a single Olympic games. The Scot with tree trunks for thighs had too much power for Kenny as he claimed Team GBs eighth track cycling gold. Its like he has swallowed a motorbike, said his Dutch rival, Theo Bos. 31. SI LVER JASON KENNY Cycling, Mens sprint It was a tall order going up against Hoy but the 20-year-old still managed to push the Scot all the way only losing the opening race by half a wheels length. But Hoy then cruised the second race to take his place at the top of the podium yet again. Kenny said: You turn up at the Olympics and finish second and you think you know, Im really very good!
